The SS6203-2RS FM222 is a high-performance stainless steel deep groove ball bearing made from AISI316L austenitic low-carbon steel. This material offers superior corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and acids, making it ideal for marine, chemical, and food-grade applications. While softer than 440C (HRC 22–25), it provides excellent durability in corrosive environments. The bearing features an electropolished finish that reduces friction and is pre-lubricated with FM222 food-grade grease.
With a 17 mm bore, 40 mm outside diameter and 12 mm width, this double-sealed bearing is suitable for a wide range of applications where corrosion resistance and reliability are critical. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -60°C to +250°C.
