Compared with common steel bearings, stainless steel bearings can be widely used in the working conditions that common steel bearings are not suitable, due to the unique features such as acid and alkali-resistance corrosion-resistance etc. Stainless steel bearings can operate properly in seawater, river water, distilled water, dilute nitric acid, oceanic climate,steam and other corrosive mediums. they also can be used in a large range of temperature from-253'c to350'c for the property of temperature-resistance.

The materials usually used for stainless steel bearings in our company includes SUS440C, SUS304, SUS316L, and so on.SUS440C is martensite stainless steel, Sus304 & SUS316l are both austenitic stainless steels, nonmaanetic and corrosion-resistance are the main properties of austenitic stainless steel. however, austenitic stainless steel can not be quenching treated, which leads to low hardness, so austenitic stainless steel bearings are appropriate for the conditions of low speed and low load.
